A personal project I spent a month playing around with to experiment with Cinema 4D’s auto rigger and continue to work on my Arnold texturing and sketch and toon shading. Ended up making too many styles that I liked, so decided to use them all in a fun scene combining the styles from Graduation (2007) with the Saint Pablo tour stage (2016).
These projects were for my Lighting & Rendering class and were assigned to better our material making skills and lighting. The models were provided by the professor and our assignent was to create materials for each piece, light the scene, and find the best render settings to get the best final products. I used these projects to specifically improve my skills in making normal maps, complex color channels, and specularity.
These animations were made mid-summer 2017 for a fun personal project, lasting about a week. I went back to them the summer of 2018 with more experience and the chance to use Red Giant and Sapphire plug-ins in After Effects to better the 80's retro aesthetic.
